Spring Sidewalk Stroll and Healthy Kids Day
As hundreds of families gather at Greene’s Field on Saturday, April 27, for the Charles River Y’s Healthy Kids Day and the start of spring soccer, a number of businesses in Needham Center will welcome them with a sidewalk sale.
From 10am -noon the Y will be hosting games, activities, face painting, a bouncy house and more along with healthy snacks and booths with community partners. Families will be encouraged to head down the street and shop after the event. Y Executive Director Paula Jacobson said small businesses are big supporters of local nonprofits. She hopes people will support them and shop small. “Our local store owners value their customers and care about us.”
