Needham Garden Club hosts, “Flower Pollination and the Bees that Feed the World.”

January 17 @ 9:30 am 11:00 am

On January 16th come see Peter Hauschka, a longtime Needham resident, present, “FLOWER POLLINATION and the BEES that FEED the WORLD.” He will discuss the evolution of flowering plants and their pollinators and how this benefits all living organisms. He has keen insight into bees and how they benefit mankind. He’ll talk of ways to mitigate the environmental impact on the bees. Peter will end on a sweet note, talking about honey! He’s an amazing beekeeper who’s into organic gardening now that he has retired from research science. We hope to see you on Tuesday, January 16 in the Library Community Room at 9:30 am. Please enjoy coffee, snacks and conversation before the presentation which is open to the public free of charge.
