Needham Garden Club readies Holiday Wreath/Arrangement Sale
The Needham Garden Club will be hosting its annual Holiday sale on December 2, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Congregational Church, Fellowship Hall, located on 1154 Great Plain Ave (parking is available in the rear.)
The sale will include member hand-crafted wreaths, creative fresh and faux holiday arrangements, swags, bows, ornaments, and baked goods. Members work hard throughout the year to make this sale possible. Proceeds help sponsor educational programs in horticulture and floral design at the Needham Library, Community Outreach, Garden Therapy sessions at local assisted living and nursing homes, and a college scholarship for a Needham senior planning to study biology, horticulture, conservation, or environmental science.
The Needham Garden Club was founded in 1931 to advance the art of gardening and the science of horticulture. Its members participate in area horticultural and floral design events, including the Needham Art in Bloom and the Festival of Trees at Elm Bank at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society in Wellesley.
The Needham Garden Club welcomes all novice or experienced gardeners, or those who just love nature, to join the club.
