Puppet Exhibit & Performance at Gorse Mill Studios

During July and August, the Gorse Mill Gallery is presenting an exhibit of puppets and puppet theater by Needham artist John Lechner. The exhibit will include hand puppets, marionettes, shadow puppets, rod puppets, and crankies created by the artist over the last thirty years. There will be a free reception for all ages on Saturday July 11th from 3-5 pm, with a puppet demonstration and performance at 3:30. Included in the exhibit will be puppet stages and scenery as well as puppets by the artist, some never before displayed. At the reception John will demonstrate how the stages work, and perform with many of the puppets on display. Refreshments will be served. The exhibit will be on display from July 6 – August 23, 2026.
