The inaugural Needham Thrives Festival to help build mental health awareness and skills takes place Sunday, Sept. 28 from 1-4 p.m. at Greene’s Field. Hosted by the Needham Resilience Network (NRN), in partnership with the Needham Community Council and the Charles River YMCA, the free event will include an exhibit area with more than 30 tables hosted by civic, health, cultural, fitness, arts and community groups sharing resources, information and activities to promote wellness. There will be activities including music, art and games as well as workshops and talks on mindfulness, nutrition, social connection, belonging and accessing mental health resources.
