The Roche Bros. store on Chestnut Street will reopen tomorrow at 8 a.m. with an updated look and expanded offerings.

Closed since February for renovations, the store comes back fully staffed, ready for business, and perhaps most surprisingly, close to on schedule. “The team had a project manager, and they have been planning for a while,” said Tristen Kendall-Barros, vice president of marketing for the supermarket chain. “It wasn’t always easy, but they were able to move the order of some things in order to stay on track.”
The team has been broadly publicizing the reopening on social media, and last week flyers announcing the store’s return along with a 20% off promotion were distributed to local businesses. In addition to the discount for all customers, the first 200 in the door will also receive a free reusable shopping bag.
Kendall-Barros said additional staff will be available on Friday to help customers navigate the new layout to help them find what they need. “The store looks totally different. It will be surprising to anyone who shopped at the old store.”
