The Needham Bank Great Hall Concert Series kicks off its 10th season on Saturday night at Powers Hall with the first of four performances that span musical genres from jazz and swing to classical to Mariachi and soulful a capella. The first show features jazz singer Ann Hampton Callaway and pianist Billy Stritch in a tribute to Peggy Lee.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience a variety of performances, high quality, in a space that many of them say is one of the finest spaces they’ve performed in,” says Moe Handel, a board member and a founder of the series.

He noted that the series works with the Needham Public Schools to engage students with the concerts, and the performers are available to the audience afterward.

“It’s well worth going even if you don’t know the performer,” says Handel.

Tickets are available for individual performances, and season tickets for all four concerts are available until September 23 at https://www.greathallperformance.org
