Dear Readers,

Today, we wrap up our pre-election reporting with four new stories and a link to where you can find all our coverage over the past six weeks.

This election season has featured a higher level of competitive interest than Needham has seen in decades, with seven contested races and more than 140 candidates running for seats at Town Meeting.

As of end of day Thursday, Town Clerk Louise Miller reported more than 2,500 residents have already voted โ€“ 2,139 by mail and 448 in-person.

If you’re not among that group, Election Day is Tuesday, April 8, with polls open from 7am to 8pm.
