Dear Readers,

We’ve got quite a few stories this week that we hope will keep you current on Needham news while we pause next week for Thanksgiving.

We will not send the Observer next Thursday as we all take the day to give thanks with family and friends. Please know that we are thankful to all of you for supporting local journalism.

But of course news doesn’t stop, and if there is breaking news to report we will bring it to you. Otherwise we will be back on December 5 with new stories. (And in the meantime, watch for our year-end fundraising message.)

Happy Thanksgiving from the Observer team!
